The KHS OperationTimer is one of the „KHS Top of the Range” watches for military special operations with tritium light systems. This watch and the tritium light systems are “made in switzerland”. Built for demanding use in the air, ashore or in water .
By their scratch-proof sapphire crystal and the case made of titanium, the KHS OperationTimer is a ultra-lightweight, compromiseless and outstanding timepiece for the perfectionist .
The unmistakable characteristic of the KHS military specops range is the red second hand and the KHS logo. For daily operations in the dark it is very usefull to have a tritium light on the second. So in the night you can see that your watch works well and you can take your team out in the seconds you need.
This watch realized the requirement of the military specification MIL-W-46374F for specialoperations.

| Operational principle of the colors which are inside the KHS OperationTimer |
The coloured operational principle of the KHS OperationTimers originates from the use in instruments from air and sea-navigation:
The zero point of the titanium bezel is provided with a green H3 tritium tube. This H3 tube stands in relationship with the minutehand. This is illustrated in the lower picture, you see that the bezel is adjusted at a 3 o clock position. Therefore the KHS OperationTimer has a green H3 unit on the minutehand.
The indices on 12 o clock is equiped with a orange H3 tritiumtube, which has a reference relationship with the hourhand. (a different colour in the 12 o clock position to the other indices is particularly importantly for the arm attitude and the basis for error free reading in the dark) for good intuitive reading we choose a orange H3 tritium tube on the hour pointer of the KHS OperationTimer.
The remaining hour indices (1-11) are secondary and equiped with blue H3 tritiumtubes.
The second hand is equiped for an exact starting signal with a blue H3 tritiumeinheit (reference).
